Rocket Girl Coaching
I am on the Shaw Trust #Power100 2018, as one of Britain’s most influential disabled people.
I offer 25+ years experience in software and telecoms as a female service delivery leader following programming and support roles. My teams have supported the electronic payments systems of many of the world’s largest banks. I staff managed global teams across all regions and cultures through 24/7/365 customer support and delivery challenges and led my teams through the full staff life cycle and multiple company acquisitions. I travelled extensively for my career and I am fascinated by people and human potential. Fully trained/insured and now a full-time coach, I adore helping others navigate their lives when they have identified a need for change. I am also a wheelchair user and use this opportunity to normalise disability in business, promoting awareness & inclusion.
I will work as your coach to listen well, ask the powerful questions with compassion, be an accountability partner, facilitate learning to empower. I take my work very seriously and I’m also a big believer in playfulness and humour.
At some point in most people’s lives, something happens that you were not expecting or maybe you’re just not where you expected to be. Coaching is for anyone going through any of life’s challenges and wants to make some brave decisions and do something about it.
Coaching is creating the conditions for individual learning, not to teach, but to facilitate learning. I work with people who have experienced success (as defined by themselves) and find themselves off track. I will help you navigate back to your future – geek pun.
Executive coaching will allow yourself or your team members work on specific areas to improve your overall performance at work and often your home life, as a byproduct. Coaching is now regarded as essential for business professionals to ensure they are consistently growing their skills and becoming a more authentic leader.
Coaching is not mentoring, consulting or training. It is creating the environment for learning, self-awareness and self-improvement.
Just as sports coaching enables athletes to hone themselves into the fastest, strongest, most tactical competitors in their disciplines, coaching helps people from all professional and personal backgrounds improve their strengths and build upon their underdeveloped areas to make the most of their lives.

What happens in
Initially, we will have a free 30-60 minute discussion by phone/Skype to discuss what has brought you to coaching and how I could help. We’ll see where ‘you’re at’, and where you would like to be (you may not have an answer to this when we start). I will let you know if I believe I am a good fit for you and how we can work together.
We will then have sessions of 60 minutes in person or over Skype. Coaching is not therapy or counselling and is mostly forward-looking. Our focus will be on exploring the situation, the possible options, helping you make the best possible choices for you. We may discuss limiting beliefs and work on your confidence to enable you to shoot for what you want in life. As a coach, I won’t tell you what is right for you and will use all of my training and skills to help you find your own choices and solutions. It is a very personal service, your ambitions are yours alone.
A coach is someone who aims to help and empower you to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals – including excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled in the home, exploring the self and the world, and achieving ambitions. A well-trained, professional coach will focus on your strengths, values, and goals, helping you realise your full potential.
This is a partnership, coach and client are equal.
By harnessing specialist techniques based on core psychological principals and natural intuition, as a coach I provide clients with the tools to confidently face difficult situations, push past emotional barriers and eventually view life with fresh, hopeful and enlightened eyes.
I recommend personal clients commit to four sessions at a time so a strategy can be made and worked on. Executive coaching will require a longer commitment due to aligning both the personal development with the corporate goals.
Please contact me for coaching rates. I also have a limited number pro bono hours for exceptional clients.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries (however small) on any of the services or information on my site. Let’s get talking, either by phone or email. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn of course.
I’m based in Hertfordshire and cover Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London. I can work at your office location, home or a location you are comfortable with. I can also work over Skype/FaceTime etc once an initial face to face session has been completed (where this is practical). I do like to see my clients in person where possible, however, if you are not based locally to me we can still work together thanks to modern technology, please contact me to discuss.
I can be contacted on +44 07932038832, if I don’t answer it is likely I am with a client. Please send me a text and I will return your call within 24 hours.
